Tamron 300mm F/2.8 With Minolta And Nikon Mounts
This well-used tamron sp ld (if) 300mm f/2.8 features an adaptall-2 mount with two adapters one for minolta (m/md) and one for nikon (n/ai). The lens uses an internal focusing mechanism and a focus limiter so you can, for example, set the limit at 15 feet so focus is limited to 8.2 feet to 15 feet. Lens shows some surface wear where the green paint is worn away and more important a bit of movement in the camera mount. Grab the camera mount and you can move it and the aperture ring about 1/16 inch. Focus is smooth with no play and the rest of the lens feels solid. The minolta adaptall-2 mount works fine. The nikon adapter doesn’t stop the lens down properly. I think replacing the adapter would fix the problem. Glass is clean and without scratches or cleaning marks. Lens comes with bayonet hood, 112mm tamron “normal” filter, lowepro case, nikon adaptall-2 adapter, minolta adaptall-2 adapter, 43mm slide-in filter, revolving tripod mount with screw-on palm rest.
