Leica Noctilux-m 50 MM F/1.0 Ver 4 Final Version In Near Perfect Condition
The highly desirable 4th and final edition. If you are truly in the market for this particular noctilux then i needn’t waste a moment of our time repeating what you already know about this exquisite work of engineering and optical design. I’ve owned this fine lens for nearly ten years. It has spent the last 5 locked in a safety deposit box as i haven’t dared use it since the market value of examples fine as mine went through the roof. I’m glad i didn’t but an important project needs funding so the time has come to find a new home, hopefully one where she actually sees some light. As investments go i’d say leica pieces as desirable as this noctilux are in general safer than gold in our current climate. I can’t begin to imagine what it will be worth in another 10 years but i’m sure of one thing. Sit on it for a few years and you’ll almost certainly be in a position where you’ve effectively made a significant sum for owning one of the finest lenses in the world, not to mention the many beautiful images you’ll have in your portfolio.
I used to shoot a lot of event reportage. I had one regular high profile parisian client for several years that kept giving me work solely on the images produced with this lens.
I had a signature look which they just couldn’t get enough of, what you and i otherwise know as noctilux bokeh. This job alone returned my original outlay for the lens and despite the current high cost it retains the potential to do this for you, particularly if you do weddings for a living. The condition is near perfect.
There are a few tiny signs of use so i can’t call it mint but 8.5-9.5/10 is probably a correct description. The highly detailed images depicting the lens clearly show the condition. There is nothing bad to report such as fungus. I’ve always stored it with silica bags in dry temperature controlled conditions. Its a pristine used example that i expect will go right on market value around â£5k. Also note that the rear cap in the images is in a bit of a rough state. It came from another lens i bought 2nd hand. The focus mechanism is smooth as silk with just the right amount of resistance to ensure absolute control and precision. The aperture ring clicks with the luxurious feel that only leica delivers.
The aperture blades are clean with no scratches or oil. My images below depict the actual lens for sale. They were shot last sunday the 22nd of january so they’re current. Work took me to a place without internet on short notice.
I forgot to reply to her and after just two days out of contact this impatient and aggressive person ruined my 100% rating feedback. I haven’t had a chance to determine what this is but i imagine the cost will be higher than usual so do factor this aspect. I’ve blocked most countries, i’m sorry but this item is just too valuable for such risks. The pictures below depict the actual lens for sale. I’ve also included several examples shot with this lens. Nikons incredible afs ii ed if 300mm pro series f2.8 lens complete with cool storage/carry case, caps, hood. Please note this is the type ii afs lens that was discontinued just a few years ago when they made the vr version. Glass is brilliant and flawless, exterior barrel shows very light use, please see pictures. Since this lens is used it may have very minor signs of use as well as light interior dust which has no affect on picture quality. Lens was used for high school sports occasionally but no heavy press type use. Note this lens is the af-s ii fast focusing super sharp version, definitely performs to the standard of the new 300vr type ii. Many pro’s have learned to rely on this lens for excellent results with fx (full frame) cameras.

No marks of any kind, just perfect! Glass is perfect, clear and unmarked. Please see my other listing items and my 100% feedback rating. Mint and mint +, or++. All mint equipment is a piece of equipment which has had little or no signs of use.
Mint + and ++ is impossible to tell from new. It would have very minimum or no signs of wear or cosmetic blemishing. Excellent plus plus is when a piece of equipment is still in lovely condition and is very near to mint minus but may have one or two small cosmetic blemishes or light marks. Lenses would be optically clean. Excellent plus shows obvious signs of use. Lenses would be optically fine but may have some slight dust in which shouldn’t affect image quality. This lens will work on both dx format bodies as well as fx format on which it is unsurpassed for quality. Both the focus ring and the zoom ring operate very smoothly and with great responsiveness. The autofocus is very fast due to this lens having a silent wave motor and it is perfectly accurate. Everything on this lens performs exactly as it should do, which is quite spectacular as lenses go.
