Canon Ef 24-70mm F/2.8 L Usm Lens Great Digital Eos /70
Usm lens with hood, caps in the original box. Body shows some sign of wear from normal use and some scuffs on the lens hood. Glass is cleanâno scratch or dust.
All pictures are of the actual listed lens. Canon original front and rear lens caps. The zoom lens ef24-70mm f/2.8l usm was developed as the successor to the ef28-70mm f/2.8l usm lens released in november 1993.
Featuring a new optical system design, the new zoom lens delivers an expanded zoom range with a 24 mm wide-angle focal length, ideally suiting it to digital image sizes, while also maintaining or improving on the outstanding image quality of the superceded model. Moreover, the power of the focusing lens group has been increased to allow a minimum focusing distance of just 0.38 meters, the shortest in its class at the time, throughout the entire zoom range. The new ef24-70mm f/2.8l usm also features a circular diaphragm, to give better background blur, and utilizes only lead-free glass optics in consideration of the environment. If you live in canada, you are. There is not a mark on it, nor is there even a piece of dust in the glass. It looks and operates just like new. This copy is sharp and contrasty wide open and gets even better stopped down. You can shoot directly into the sun with very minimal flare because of the nano coating and the colours are out of this world.
This lens is the only zoom i would consider a prime killer. Please ask if you have.

Canon Ef 24-70mm F/2.8l Usm Lens (24-70 MM 2.8 F2.8 L)
Canon ef 24-70mm f/2.8l usm. The lens is in mint condition. There isn’t a scratch anywhere on the body of the lens.
The front element has never been touched, not even by a lens cloth. Same to the back element, there isn’t any scratch or finger print on it. There are some very minor scratches on the lens hood. The lens pouch included is brand new, never used. The lens had never been used at any commerical situation or in a wedding. It has never been mishandled or dropped. The image quality is excellent and focus is sharp.
I don’t see any back-focus issue common with this model. The date code of the lens is: uu091. The date code translates to september 2006 as the manufactured date. Note: i have blurred out the serial number on the third photo.
Just in case people are taking the serial number listed and using it to apply for canon cps program. There is nothing wrong with that part of the lens, just want to hide the serial number for your benefit. Canon ef 24-70mm f/2.8l usm lens. These will be cancelled without notice. This lens was bought approximately 6 months ago. It has been rarely used (4 hours of on camera time) and has been stored. In a dedicated / dust free, foam lined camera case. It was bought for wedding work, but i prefer my ef 85mm f/1.2l and it never got used more than once. This lens is extremely sharp, and the outdoor colours are superb.
This lens comes fitted with the highest possible quality hoya 77mm uv pro1 digital filter (fitted from day 1). This lens has no scratches or mould and has been well handled and well cared for.
The lens comes with the original lens bag, ew-83f lens hood. Original box and associated lens documentation. At the request of many - the date code for the lens is. Please also note that this lens is. It has been on body for less than 1 hour and used for less than 100 images.
