Minolta MC Rokkor-pg 58mm F/1.2 Lens
Minolta mc rokkor-pg 58mm f/1.2 lens. This fine thing is a minolta mc rokkor-pg 58mm f/1.2, #2558070. This tack sharp minolta lens is designed to fit all minolta mf camera bodies. Looking over this lens it is in very nice very clean condition.
I see a little light paint loss around the focus control grip. The lens mount shows very light signs of mounting. Optically this lens has a minor issue.
The external elements are scratch free, but looking internally i see some extremely faint hazing just behind the rear objective. The hazing can only be detected with a bright light source, and may cause a small drop in contrast. The aperture blades are intact but oily. The focusing is silky smooth. The click-stop f-stops are clicking, as they should. This is a beautiful, sharp, extremely fast lens and will make a fine addition to any minolta system. Rare Minolta MC Rokkor 58mm F1.2 P.g. Lens. Very Clean!
Here is a really nice and rare minolta mc rokkor 58mm f1.2 pg lens. For sale on behalf of my father, this lens has always been prized and well cared for! Optically it is beautifully clean with sparkling glass! There are slight dust traces but nothing out of the ordinary. Also there is no fungus or haze and the aperture blades are spotlessly clean.
Mechanically all rotations are very smooth and positive and it is a nice lens to use. The lens barrel is clean and free from ugly marks.
It displays slight paint loss on the high knurled parts of the focusing ring. But this is just from normal use over the years. It comes with an original front cap but i’m not sure about the rear one, it could be generic.. Minolta MC Rokkor-pg 58mm 1:1.2 Camera Lens Fast Glass
Minolta mc rokkor-pg 58mm 1:1.2 camera lens fast glass. This camera lens is in used condition but still looks great. The lens has been thoroughly inspected to assure quality to you. The lens is free of any haze, fog, fungus on both the front and rear elements.
There is some light hazing on the inner glass which unfortunately, is something that these lenses suffer from. The hazing is not permanent and can be cleaned by a professional. I have been quoted $50-65 to have this lens cleaned internally. I decided i would wait until the new owner receives it so he/she can decide if they want it cleaned. I had this lens mounted to my nikon dslr(with an adapter) and it produced excellent results even despite the spots of hazing on the inner glass.
Please keep in mind, this lens is not mint but is great if you dont have one and you want to own a great example. This is a thick piece of glass and well built offering you very fast shooting in low light situations. All of the aperture blades move freely and are free of oil damage.

Minolta 58mm F1.2 MC Rokkor Lens W/box, Fast & Rare!
Minolta 58mm f1.2 mc rokkor lens w/box, fast & rare! This is the fastest lens ever produced by minolta and is much in demand among photographers for its fine craftsmanship, superb optics, sharp images and deeply saturated colors. The lens was used with a minolta srt 201 single lens reflex camera and it’s my understanding that it will fit all srt, xx, and x-series minolta cameras. Lens comes complete with front and rear lens caps, original box and styrofoam packaging. The lens works perfectly and has no scratches, haze, fungus or imperfections in the glass.
It was used only on occasion vacations, holidays, etc. — not professionally and was treated with care always. There are some tiny specks of dust visible within the lens, which i’m told are common in lenses of this size and vintage, and do not affect image quality. There is light wear to the lens body. There is cosmetic damage to the front lens cap: i tried to remove a sticky spot from it using the wrong solvent and unfortunately the solvent discolored the plastic.
There is also a small dent in the metal rim that surrounds the glass of the lens. You can see this dent in my first photo, under the “m” in mc rokkor. The outer box, in which the lens was stored for many years, is quite worn around the edges. The small “ding” on the filter ring does not affect the attachment or removal of filters, which can be screwed on and off with ease.

Minolta mc rokkor-x pg 58mm f1.2 manual focus lens, s/n 2717421. This is a super fast low light lens that can be used on all sr mount (mc/md) minolta.
Manual focus 35mm film cameras. With the appropriate adapter (not included), this lens can be used on micro 4/3 cameras or sony nex cameras as well, and there are other specialized adapter configurations that will allow shooting on sony or canon dslrs too!
This lens is famous for its beautiful bokeh and is a popular model in the minolta manual focus line. Aperture range f/1.2 - f/16. Glass is clean, there are a few specs of dust and one tiny scratch or mark. The red alignment dot is missing.
