Nikon Af Nikkor Ed 80-200mm F 2.8 D 80-200 F2.8
This includes back cap and the lens hood. Front cap is not included. The ring that you switch from auto to manual, it used to click at auto and manual position but it doesn’t anymore. But auto focus and manual focus work perfectly fine when the ring is in position.
Few people asked me this question. When the ring is in either auto or manual position the ring doesn’t stay in. That’s what i meant by it doesn’t click.
But i find out that this is a pretty common problem with this lens. I don’t know how much it would cost to fix it.
But to me it seems like nothing but replacing the ring. I thought about doing it before i sell it but didn’t want to create further problem since i have never took a part the lens before. There are no scratches on both front and back glass.

Nikon Ed Af-s Nikkor 80-200 MM 1:2.8 D W/ Case
I bought this item new from b and h. It has been cared for, has never been dropped or loaned out.
The tripod socket is like new. It has a couple of very slight marks on the barrel, but i see no scratches or marks on the glass- it appears to be excellent. I have not tried to clean this other than a dust off. The lens performs fine, and i will warrant that it is as described.
The lens sat in a photo closet for years, as it was not used much. The lens cap is missing- it has had a tiffen circular polarizer on it since it was new (not included).
As you can see the case is like new, and includes the original plastic bag! Usually i do not photograph items with on camera flash- as it is very telling.
I wanted you to see the great shape this lens is in!

Nikon af 80-200mm f/2.8d ed lens nikkor 80-200 2.8 d

This lens is in beautiful condition. Glass is clean and free of scratches. Finish has minor scratches where tripod collar connects to tripod. Case is in excellent condition. Lens comes with original box. I will include the nikon hb-7 lens hood not in photos. Item is in perfect shape in original box. The optics are sixteen elements in eleven groups. Three of them are of ed glass. It uses standard 77mm filters. The diaphragm is 9-bladed diaphragm with nine conventional straight blades. They make a nice 9-sided polygon at all apertures, unlike the af-s that simulates a circle at larger apertures. Its close focus is 5.5 feet. Confirmation number available upon request.
