Nikon Nikkor 50mm F1.2 Ai S Ais F5 F100 Fm Fm2 D3 D700
The item is in avearge to good condition. The lens is free from fungus, spider webs, cloudiness or haze. There is some minor bits of dust inside the lens.
I can’t see any major marks or scratches on the front or rear element. There might be some very minor cleaning marks on the outer edge of the rear element and one small scratch on the front element. I would rate the optics as in good condition.
The outer lens barrel has scratches, paint loss and some minor dents on it. The lens focuses smoothly and the aperture clicks nicelt in to its stops. The aperture is snappy and there is no oil on them. The lens mount has some brassing on it.

Af nikkor 80-200mm 1:2.8 d lens with caps and nikon hb-7 hood in 8.5+/ex+ condition. Cosmetics are 8.5+/ex+ shows light wear on the barrel. Optics are 9+ glass has no scratches. Inside has slight dust, that will not affect the pictures. Mechanics are 9.5+ both af and mf are wotking properly. Zoom is smooth, but has slight creep/slides down from gravity. Will work on any nikon mf or af body, including digital: fm2n, fm3a, fe, fa, f3 hp, f100, f5, n80, n75, d100, d2h, d70s, d50, d80…
Not fully compatible with nikon d40/d40x, d60, d3000, d5000. The lens comes with both nikon caps and nikon hb-7, as pictured. Push/pull lens, very sharp lens with ed glass.

No, it is not available new any more, but it was the last introduced. It was discontinued when the vaunted nikon 70-200mm. At that point, the af-d version was brought. This is the silent wave. Motor version that will auto focus with nikon’s entry level dslrs such as. The nikon d40, d40x, d60, d3000 and d5000.
Have one of these d want to get a high-speed professional nikkor zoom that autofocuses for. You no longer need to drop $2000 for one! This: better edge to edge image quality.
While the 70-200mm vr is. Sharper in the center (not by much - trust me) this lens is sharper on the. This is extremely important if you are shooting with a. Full-frame camera such as the d3, d3x, d3s, or d700, or if you intend to. Go full-frame at some point in the future.

This lens is as good as it gets (crc close range correction makes it extremly sharp at closest focusing with wide open 1.4 aperture), for your nikon system: f3, fa, fm3a, fg.. Or use it on your d700.
