Pentax smc f 300mm f4.5 ed if autofocus prime lens. The lens is in overall excellent condition, af is very fast and accurate on my pentax k-5 and it is very very sharp lens. Compatible with pentax dslr’s and slr’s. This is one of those legendary lenses from pentax.
Its built like a tank, yet very small and relatively light weight for a 300mm prime lens. Includes front and rear caps and has an excellent built in hood. Glass is clean and clear of fungus and dust and in excellent shape.
There are two very very tiny blemishes on the lens front element. They in now way effect picture quality, but just want to make it clear. I bought the lens like this from an online retailer in excellent condition and have taken care of it like a baby the whole time i have owned. It is tack sharp wide open, i guarantee the lens will work as expected and that you will love it.
This is what the retailer described as ex excellent condition when i bought it and it is still in the exact same condition. “excellent” 80-89% of original condition. Might have small dents and/or dings and slight finish wear. Glass may have slight marks and/or blemishes that will not affect picture quality. This lens looks like brand new and had none of the issues above, except for the 2 tiny blemishes, hence they listed it as excellent. Heres a link to a discussion on pentax forums.
