+++ contax carl zeiss distagon 18mm f4 comtax/yashica. ++ very difficult to find this len++. This lens has c/y lens mount. It will work on all canon, olympus, nikon, pentax cameras. It will work on digital cameras. Over all perfect working condition.
Front and back glass elements are in perfect condition, free of scratches and cleaning marks. I would rate glass as mint. Glass is free of scratches or dirt, fungus or haze. Aperture blades are free of oil.
Aperture ring clicks at every stop. Filter rim is in good condition. Smooth focus, all the way. It feels like the best quality lens. Everything works as it should.
Would rate it at 9.5 for cosmetics and at 10 for performance on a scale of 10. Pictures(1024 pixel) from true item. Please see my other lens in my catalogue.
