Nikon Af-s II Ed If 300mm F/2.8 Super Tele 2.8 Fx Lens For D3 D4 D700 Type Afsii
Nikons incredible afs ii ed if 300mm pro series f2.8 lens complete with cool storage/carry case, caps, hood. Please note this is the type ii afs lens that was discontinued just a few years ago when they made the vr version. Glass is brilliant and flawless, exterior barrel shows very light use, please see pictures. Since this lens is used it may have very minor signs of use as well as light interior dust which has no affect on picture quality. Lens was used for high school sports occasionally but no heavy press type use. Note this lens is the af-s ii fast focusing super sharp version, definitely performs to the standard of the new 300vr type ii. Many pro’s have learned to rely on this lens for excellent results with fx (full frame) cameras.

I have marked the optical condition down slightly because there are a few very small, fine scratches on the front protective lens element.
This optical flat does not contribute to the functioning of the lens, and acts as a semi-. This lens because of its age. These imperfections will not affect the image quality of photos taken with this lens. Mechanically, the important lens operations all perform flawlessly.
Focussing is perfect, and the focus preset works perfectly too. I have marked the mechanical condition down slightly because the tripod collar knob has come off, although it is included in. The tension on the rotating tripod collar is set tight enough that the collar doesn’t rotate on its own, but can still be turned to. Also, the lock that keeps the aperture set to minimum no longer prevents the aperture ring from being turned, but rather.

M42 Pentax Super Takumar 50mm F1.4 Early 8 Element
Here is a nice scarce 8 element super takumar 50mm f1.4 in m42 screw mount. Again this is the early desirable 8 element version serial no. Later versions of this lens were a 7 element version that was less expensive to manufacture. I did not get the best angle and lighting to show the rear lens but it does protrude from the mounting, as any 8 element copy would.
These lenses do not show up often and i almost never find this lens anymore. The lens is very clean but has one hairline mark on the rear lens. This is tiny and it will have no effect whatsoever on the lens performance. The rest of the glass is clean maybe a spec or two but no problems.
The lens barrel is clean and only shows very minimal specs on the black lens paint. As you might expect the focus action is smooth, and the aperture is clean and snappy.
The a/m switch works correctly and the lens has click stops down to f16. Here is a great chance to grab a super lens.
The lens comes with a pentax 49mm snap in front lens cap and a rear m42 screw on cap. The lens also comes with a vivitar marked rigid lens case. Thanks for taking a look!
I work very hard to find any defects on the vintage glass that i is possible but not likely that i may miss something. These lenses to sell but some are not perfect and i note whatever. Problems i find in detail. A real photographer you know that even brand new lenses come with dust. And some specs on the glass.
Please do not expect to put a 20-50 year. Old lens on a microscope and find absolute perfection. Care of my customers but if you are a. Once the package leaves my hands i can not be. But it can happen and you agree to take the risk.

Hello and thanks for viewing our listing! Please read the description carefully. This is a pentax super takumar 85mm f1.9 m42 screw mount lens with front and rear caps. It will of course fit a large variety of cameras including many current digital slr’s with the correct adapter (not included). The glass is in great shape, no marks, haze or fungus.
There is a fairly large dust speck inside the lens, but it has no affect at all on images. I have done a bit of shooting with this lens on my pentax k-7 and this is one fun lens to shoot with! Super control over depth of field and the best bokeh. Focusing is smooth and the blades are fine. Cosmetically, the lens is in very good shape with light signs of use.
Please see the photos, only what is pictured is included. We have lots of nice camera equipment listed now. I have had a few questions about the large dust speck in the lens. Again, i have been using this lens and it does not affect images at all. I also shot a test grid with the lens and there was no affect at all from it being in there.

The first and most important version of the famous line of super takumar primes - later versions were fitted with 7 elements. Identification - aperture number font is different from the latter series - infra red marker is set within aperture ‘4′ - see picture no 4. Optic glass condition: perfect &.
Cosmetic condition: good some brassing. Aperture blades: clean and snappy. Please note picture number 3 (not 4) infra red marker is set within aperture ‘4′. It is to the right of the number not to the left like all later versions. Also note the early serial number 1338745.
